Undergraduate Programs
The department offers B.A. programs in French, German, and Spanish. Undergraduate minors are available in Asian Language and Culture (with a concentration in Chinese or Japanese), French, German, Russian (suspended), and Spanish. We also offer courses (but not a major or minor) in Arabic, Italian, and Linguistics. Course work in the department is also required for the International Degree program.
Foreign Language placement tests for French, German, and Spanish are offered in the Foreign Language and Literatures office, 210 Kidder Hall, Monday through Thursday 8 am to 3 pm. Contact the Foreign Language and Literatures office for information on other Languages placement tests.
